SUPPORT AND RECOVERY GROUPS

Divorce Care

Are you currently separated or divorced? This can be one of the most painful and stressful experiences you’ll ever face. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. But you don’t have to go through it alone.

DivorceCare is a group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce. The group is facilitated by people who have experienced what you are going through and want to help. If you’re looking for support, encouragement, and interaction with individuals experiencing similar issues, this is the place for you. No registration necessary. $15 for workbook (scholarships available if needed). Free childcare for kids birth-5th grade. For more information, email Amber Fuller or call (615) 465-5047.

Leader: Lee Davis – Church – Wednesdays – 6:30pm

GriefShare

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there aren’t many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. It may be hard to feel optimistic about the future right now. You may feel isolated and have questions about how to move toward rebuilding your life. We know it hurts, and we want to help.

GriefShare is a group for people grieving the death of someone close. It’s a place where you can be around people who understand the pain of your loss. For more information, email Amber Fuller or call (615) 465-5047.

Priority Parenting

Priority Parenting is a class designed to help divorcing parents as well as parents facing custodial issues to understand the effects of divorce/custody division on children and mistakes parents make and how to avoid them. This four-hour class is facilitated by parents who’ve been through divorce. It is a combination of video and discussion and meets all the requirements of the 21st judicial district court-mandated co-parenting course. No childcare. For more information, email Amber Fuller or call (615) 465-5047.

Pre-register Online Here. – $30 Registration closes at noon on the Thursday before each class.

2017 Classes: August 6th. All classes meet from 5PM to 9PM.

PreWork:  Completion of Up to Parents online course is recommended. Go to uptoparents.org to complete the course.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery© is a ministry to hurting people who are on a journey toward wholeness, seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

You may think recovery is only for those with alcohol or drug problems. This couldn’t be further from the truth. A hurt, habit or hang-up is anything that hinders your walk with God, including: chemical addictions, eating disorders and food addictions, fear, anger, abandonment, depression, abuse, sexual addiction, relationship addiction, anxiety, workaholism, and everything in between.

Do you struggle with a particular issue that seems to have such strength and power over you that it has prevented you from experiencing any real victory? Have you been secretly hoping for a safe place to share your struggles and get healing? Celebrate Recovery is for you! No registration necessary. Free childcare for kids birth-5th grade. For more information, email Kelli Corley or call 615.465.5055.

Leader: Ken Morris – Church – Wednesdays – 6:30pm
