Here at Church of the City, we have four kinds of groups – Missional Communities, Learning Communities, Social Groups, and Support and Recovery. Learn more about each type of group below, or click the button to join a group!

Missional Communities are the heartbeat of our church. These groups gather in homes all across our city to share meals together, study the scriptures, and serve local needs in our community. To try a Missional Community, or to learn more click a name below to email a leader directly. You can also email or call 615.358.8463. Wrap Around

We, the church, have the opportunity to wrap around birth parents, foster families, waiting families, and adoptive families on their journey. By partnering with existing community resources, continuing education for families and leaders, and supporting our church and community by meeting the tangible needs this issue presents, we can all choose to say “Yes.”

“Yes” to permanence and belonging for children;

“Yes” to wrapping around these courageous kids and families;

“Yes” to fulfilling the very role God intended for the church.

Wrap Around is launching groups, events, and support services for:
Waiting Families (In Process of Adoption)
Foster Families and Court-Appointed Advocates
Adoptive Families

If you fall into any of these groups and could use resources and support, or if you’ve walked one of these journeys and would love to be a resource to others, please email Chris & Elysia Sandlin.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery© is a ministry to hurting people who are on a journey toward wholeness, seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

You may think recovery is only for those with alcohol or drug problems. This couldn’t be further from the truth. A hurt, habit or hang-up is anything that hinders your walk with God, including: chemical addictions, eating disorders and food addictions, fear, anger, abandonment, depression, abuse, sexual addiction, relationship addiction, anxiety, workaholism, and everything in between.

Do you struggle with a particular issue that seems to have such strength and power over you that it has prevented you from experiencing any real victory? Have you been secretly hoping for a safe place to share your struggles and get healing? Celebrate Recovery is for you! No registration necessary. Free childcare for kids birth-5th grade. For more information, email Kelli Corley or call 615.465.5055.
